Our colleagues at PistonHeads grilled Stephan Fahr-Becker, the Audi RS3's designer, about how you create a Q-car (plus why he loves his V6 Clios)

As you will be aware, Audi is so excited about its new RS3 that it’s enlisted our friends over at PistonHeads to promote a series of videos, the third of which you can see below.

In the video, Audi designer Stephan Fahr-Becker explains what inspired the exterior look of the new RS3, how it communicates quattro tradition and the engineering under the skin, and how the cars he’s owned have influenced his work.

Suffice it to say, anyone who runs a Clio V6 as a daily driver must know a thing or two…

Salute the Clio V6

There's no hot hatch on the road today (on this side of the new Honda Civic Type R) which looks as flamboyant as the V6 Clio. Sad that Becker can not rub some of his favourite car's magic on to the fast Audis. May be his hands are tied due the conservative nature of the group he's working for.
