Fast-growing Chinese vehicle manufacturer BYD enjoyed record success last year as its sales totalled 1.8 million – a 155% improvement on 2021’s figures.
Few other firms have released their 2022 results at the time of writing but, for reference, Hyundai recorded 3.9 million sales globally and Kia recorded 2.9 million.
