Volvo is considering opening up capacity in Ghent, Belgium, to other manufacturers in a push to secure the factory's future.
The Swedish company has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Belgian government to explore plans to improve Ghent’s competitiveness, including a support package that could be worth up to €119 million (£101m).
