Daihatsu presents the D-Compact concept, which previews the next Terios

Daihatsu will present a new 4x4 concept, the D-Compact 4x4, at the Frankfurt motor show next week. The concept previews a successor to the current Terios 1.3 compact 4x4.

The D-Compact is longer, wider and higher than the current Terios and is powered by a 104bhp 1.5-litre 16-valve petrol engine, derived the new Sirion's unit. It also features permanent four-wheel-drive with a centre differential lock and stability control to help it cope with rough terrain.
