More bling for VW's Eos

VW has blinged up its Eos for the Californian showcase of design and restoration, Pebble Beach.

With suspension cut down by an inch, H&R springs and 20inch multispoke wheels, the Highway 1 design study certainly has visual impact. Providing the power is VW’s 3.2-litre V6, transmitted via its DSG semi-automatic gearbox.

The interior has had a makeover too: piano black lacquer trim and unique leather upholstery are the highlights.

The car comes a month before VW launches the range-topping Eos, with that V6, in the US. You can order one in the UK now, with delivery in November. But none of the design study's features will make it onto the UK options list.
