Currently reading: Terrano: more kit, less cash

In the face of refreshed competition, Nissan has revised its Terrano off-roader range, chopping as much as £1000 off list prices on some models, and beefing up standard specification.

Both S and Sport derivatives are dropped for the new range that includes six models. There’s £1000 off the now entry-level 2.7TD SE three-door, which now costs £17,995 and comes with standard 17in wheels, tinted rear glass and metallic paint; the five door becomes £500 cheaper. Higher up the range, three-litre diesel power teamed with five-doors and seven seats now comes £1200 cheaper, in the form of the £22,095 new 3.0Di SE.
