Our spies tell us that this is a test mule for the long-awaited new Honda NSX. Fresh shots from the Nurburgring reveal this very Japanese-looking sports car, which is running on the same wheels and exhaust configuration as the long wheelbase S2000 that Honda used as an NSX prototype last year. We’ve got no confirmation as yet that it is Honda’s new supercar, a model whose development has been constantly delayed since the original Acura Advanced Sports Car Concept was revealed in January ’07.But, although this prototype is smaller and squatter than expected, we know the NSX development project has been completely reworked in the last year. So it’s not hard to believe that this is the almost-finished supercar. We know the new NSX will have a front-mounted V10 engine offering around 500bhp. But sources have previously claimed it’ll have a 2+2 seating arrangement. Judging by this prototype, if it is a 2+2 then the rear seats will be tiny, like an Audi TT’s. We’ll bring you more information as we get it…
