Formula One to return to London

Formula One will return to London later this month when Jacques Villeneuve blasts his BMW-Sauber through Hyde Park.

According to our sister site autosport.com, the 1997 world champion will drive the car along 380 metres of road in the famous venue on June 13, as part of a promotional exercise for sponsor Intel. Britain's World Touring Car champion Andy Priaulx will also be in attendance, driving a BMW M6 alongside the F1 car.

F1 last visited the capital in 2004, when huge crowds watched a series of demonstration runs near Regent's Park.
