New IS 250 cabriolet to be unveiled at Paris

Lexus will launch an IS 250 convertible in the UK next summer, and the car will be revealed at the Paris Show next month.Badged IS 250 C, the fresh-air IS will use the same 2.5-litre V6 as its saloon stablemate and will feature a folding-metal roof, like the original LF-C concept (pictured) and the Lexus SC.Despite the arrival of the newer IS open-top, Lexus will keep the seven-year-old SC in production for at least another 18 months. Global sales of the SC are under 6000 units per year, with 4000 of those in the US. The new all-wheel-drive Lexus LS 460 will also be on show at Paris.
