Hyundai has revealed three special-edition models for the summer. The Getz supermini, Accent hatchback and Coupé Atlantic editions all pack more toys but cost less than the standard models.
The 1.4-litre Accent Atlantic is a new model that replaces both the previous Accent and the Elantra saloon, and comes with added air-conditioning, alloys and a rear spoiler for £8995.
The Getz Atlantic brings all the equipment of the top-of-the-line CDX version, previously only available as a five-door, to the three-door 1.1 model, and also Getz (sorry) a rear roof spoiler with brake light, colour-coded carpet mats and carbon grain interior trim. It usually costs £7990 - £600 less than the five-door CDX - but until the end of September it is just £7290.
Just 500 Coupé Atlantics will be available, in a choice of dark blue, red or silver. Based on the 2.0 SE, the Coupé also gains colour-coded mats, a six-disc CD changer, climate control, auto-dimming rear-view mirror, and automatic lights, but costs no more than the SE, at £17,170 on the road. And, as with the Getz, if you buy before the end of September, it’ll cost just £16,670.
