An actual-size ice model of a VW Polo was displayed in London last week as part of a new advertising campaign for the car. Commissioned by an agency, and on show outside the Saatchi Gallery on the south bank, it was made from long lasting ice engineered not to melt, and imported from Canada for the stunt.
The adverts promote the inclusion of of standard air conditioning on the new Volkswagen Polo Twist special edition, hence the blocks of ice. Genius. It's a good job that motorhomes sold with portable toilets aren't marketed using the same lateral thinking.
