Front-drive Vauxhall Insignias will be offered with the range-topping VXR’s clever front suspension next year.
Understeer-reducing HiPerStruts are standard on the all-wheel-drive VXR and optional on the potent 4x4 BiTurbo diesel model.
Last week Opel announced the rollout of the HiPerStruts to front-drive Insignias. Vauxhall is still to decide which models will take the upgrade, but the 158bhp 2.0 CDTi is the most likely choice.
HiPerStruts are part of the BiTurbo’s £1500 ‘Supersport’ chassis pack, also including 20in wheels and upgraded Brembo brakes.
