Alfa to sort its dealers

Alfa Romeo is showing the neatly-resolved Brera Spider at the British Motor Show – and its chief promised a thorough reform of their customer service, including the dealer network.

Alfa’s dealers have long been notorious as the thorn in the side of the brand in the UK. With their most credible range in recent memory, Alfa boss Antonio Baravalle promised ‘a leap in quality in the way we deal with both the sales process and aftersales service’ over the next year.

That means test drives always being offered, fast parts delivery and a guaranteed courtesy car. A customer contact centre will open within a month.

Baravalle was tight-lipped about the company's future plans, but said that Alfa would unveil a new model, 'a car that is a dream' at the Paris show in September.
