Currently reading: Fabia gets a facelift

October brings a subtly tweaked Skoda Fabia supermini to the forecourt. This facelifted model is freshened up with an updated front grille, a redrawn spoiler and new fog lights, as well as new tail light clusters at the rear, and a more modern cabin featuring new interior upholsteries.

The car's three discreet trim levels have also been reappraised. Mid-range Comfort specification makes way for new Ambiente, echoing the trim choices on its new bigger brother the Octavia.

To mark the occasion, Skoda is tempting buyers with a new low entry-level price. For a limited time, its 54bhp 1.2-litre Fabia, in Classic garb, comes for just £6995; air conditioning is also thrown in for free, until the end of the year.

New Ambiente trim also benefits from free air-conditioning, whilst Eleganza models get rear parking sensors, cruise control and leather upholstery - a first for the Fabia - free of charge, as part of the give-away.
