Koenigsegg has announced the full spec list of its new 1100bhp Agera R hypercar

Koenigsegg has revealed full specification details of its mighty new 1100bhp Agera R hypercar.

Its 5.0-litre V8 engine is capable of running on both E85 bioethanol and petrol. Running on the former, the twin-turbocharged unit produces 1100bhp at 6900 rpm and 885lb ft, while the figures stand at 972bhp and 811lb ft on petrol power. The 1435kg Agera R will hit 62mph in just 2.9sec in its optimum set-up, according to Koenigsegg.

The R's drive is transferred through the rear wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox and the carbon-Kevlar body will generate 300kg of downforce at 155mph. On the move, the Agera R is capable of 1.6g of lateral force, with braking courtesy of carbon ceramic brakes - six-pot callipers at the front, four-pot at the rear.

Other features include 19-inch alloys on the front and 20-inch on the back, detachable hardtop with glass roof, hydraulic lifting system, climate control, leather carpets, sat-nav and USB connectivity.

Options for the Agera R, which was first revealed at the Geneva motor show, include full carbon body, rear-view camera, heated seats and an optional ski-box roof as pictured in the gallery.
