Currently reading: 'New Viper' comes to the UK

The first in a range of new Dodge-badged cars to go on sale in the UK will arrive at Chrysler dealers in November. The SRT-10 – better known as the Viper – is powered by a 500bhp 8.3-litre V10 engine and will cost £77,500. The company says the car will hit 190mph and get to 62mph in just 3.9 seconds. Just 15 SRT-10s will be brought into the UK next year, all left-hand drive. The car has had 50 separate components re-engineered by Prodrive to allow to it meet EU regulations. Dodge insiders have also revealed that the European-focused Neon replacement we recently scooped will take styling cues from the 2003 Dodge Avenger concept (right) when its disguise is stripped away.
