The Savvy, Proton's first five door UK city car, is to go on sale in the UK in January at a price of £6995 in Style trim, pitching it directly at the Fiat Panda 1.2 Dynamic and Kia Picanto 1.1 LX. A base model, dubbed Street, will arrive a month later in February for £5995.
The Savvy sports a 1.2-litre engine available with either manual or automated manual transmission. Split seats in the rear are fully foldable to give a maximum boot capacity of 909 litres. Both models include a CD player, reverse parking sensors and ABS as standard, while the Style model adds air conditioning and alloy wheels.
