Seat sports up the Ibiza

Seat is spicing up the Ibiza range with the addition of the three-intake honeycomb front bumper and 'diffuser-style' rear bumper seen here. Models with over 98bhp will get visible twin tailpipes and revised tailight clusters.

There are also new wheels (the minimum size is now 15") and twin headlights for all models. There are further changes for the FR to bring it closer to the Cupra. The range's trim levels are now: Reference; Stylance; Sport; FR and Cupra.

This refresh of the Ibiza, launched in 2003, is to emphasise Seat as VW's sporting brand and, apparently, to align it more closely with the rest of Seat's range. Prices are to be announced nearer to the car's UK launch in April.
