Smart has launched a Brabus-tuned version of the Roadster, a year after the launch of the plastic-bodied chop-top.
A 20 per cent power hike takes maximum output to 101bhp, enough for 0-62mph in 9.8sec and a 121mph top speed.
Tuning involves the fitment of a new turbo and intercooler, while a beefier body kit and 17in alloy wheels help toughen up the looks. The interior gains black leather trim and steering-wheel nudge-shift paddles. Prices in Germany start at £16,700.
