Spyker has unveiled a prototype of its new C8 Aileron Spyder at the 59th Pebble Beach Concours.
The Dutch supercar is powered by a 4.2-litre Audi V8 engine, which also appears in the Audi R8. It produces 400bhp and 354lb ft of torque, while 0-62mph takes 4.5sec and it can reach 187mph.

The engine is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox driving the rear wheels via a limited-slip differential. A ZF six-speed automatic gearbox is optional, with paddle shifters behind the steering wheel.
The Spyker C8 Aileron's all-aluminium spaceframe was completely redesigned to increase torsional rigidity and to incorporate an all-new suspension system, designed and supplied by Lotus.
Spyker say its turbine air inlets are a nod to the jet-engined aviation era, while LEDs are used in the front and rear headlights.
Inside, there are Sparco sports seats, a full leather interior and brushed aluminium trim.
Prices start at around £160,000 and the Spyker C8 Aileron is expected to go on sale next year.
