Audi’s interiors are to undergo a revolution, say company insiders. According to a senior design source, the wrap-around look started with the A6 (right) will continue on future cars – becoming more extreme in the future. ‘The Le Mans concept’s interior (above) was very aggressive indeed in the way that the console wrapped around the driver,’ said our source. ‘That’s the kind of cockpit effect that we will be moving towards with future models.’ Apparently the upcoming Q7 4x4 will get a bespoke interior, rather than adopting the A6’s cabin.
