Currently reading: TF revised to combat new Mazda

To help counter the threat posed by the all-new Mazda MX-5, MG has announced a revised version of its TF roadster for 2005. MG chassis engineers have reduced the TF’s spring rates, revised its damper settings, and thickened the front anti-roll bar in the search for improved ride and handling. A heated glass rear screen replaces the old car’s plastic version (right), and central locking, a CD tuner, a leather-trimmed steering wheel and handbrake, and heated mirrors now become standard.

The range starts at £15,995 for the 115bhp model, rising to £20,495 for the TF 160.
