Ford has tarted up its Fiesta van. Fitted with the 89bhp 1.6-litre diesel, which has 150lb ft of torque, the van comes with body-coloured ‘sport’ bumpers, 16-inch alloys and a rear spoiler.
The front gets a grille with a higher air intake and the obligatory fog lights. Your colour choice is between Moondust Silver, the appropriately-named Diamond White, Colorado Red and – as seen here – Panther Black.
The interior features a ‘dark pewter and ebony gunmetal’ finish, sports seats and a leather gear knob and steering wheel. An option pack brings air conditioning, MP3 playability, a heated front windscreen and electric door mirrors.
Prices are not known as the SportVan will not be on sale in Britain until the end of the year. The 1.6-litre engine is not currently fitted in the Fiesta Van, but as the 1.4-litre TDCi Van is £9,250 it seems reasonable to expect a price around the £10,500 mark.
