Currently reading: Veyron date slips again

Bugatti's epic EB16.4 Veyron supercar has been delayed yet again. Originally due for 2003 sales, the Veyron has been pushed back for 'at least another 15 months', according to president Thomas Bscher.

He told Autocar that 'demanding quality standards' imposed by parent company VW meant that the first 8.0-litre W16 supercars, and Bugatti's stab at the world's fastest production car laurels, will have to wait until 'the second half of 2005'.
