"Is Steve Cropley's personal Duster, based on the Sandero?"
Originally - YES. All the models, EVERYTHING, was based on the underpinnings, the same platform of the "Nicole?" CLIO.
It is understood that now, everything has been moved to the same, more modern - even CURRENT - Renault platform . . . EXCEPT for the Duster, which in spite of a recent "facelift" to the front grill (and interior) is STILL based on the original "legacy" platform of the "Nicole?" CLIO.
