New Mini Cabrio owners are being left fuming by premature roof wear. Several owners have contacted Autocar, reporting discolouration around the glass rear window and actual wearing of the material in some cases. Other new Cabrio owners have also reported the electrically operated roof failing, although Mini denies there are widespread problems. ‘We’ve only heard of a couple of cases,’ said a spokesperson, ‘but there’s no immediate solution. Any owners should contact their dealer if they have any concerns.’
