The Renault Megane receives a minor facelift, as the model takes on the company's new front end

The facelifted Renault Megane has been revealed at the Frankfurt motor show.

Hatchback, coupe and estate models of the car now all sport the new family front-end bumper from Renault, a style which was first seen on the new Renault Clio.

There are very few other cosmetic changes. However, Renault has confirmed that a new 128bhp 1.2-litre 130 TCe petrol engine will be added to the range for the facelift, which will be mated to Renault's EDC dual-clutch gearbox.

Inside customers get minor trim and equipment tweaks, while Renault's R-Link infotainment system has also been added.

The car will be shown alongside other Renault models, including a new concept car teased last week.
