McLaren will be showcasing its Le Mans heritage at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in July.
As well as being the first time visitors will see the new 903bhp P1 in motion, McLaren will also be pointing to its motorsport heritage and in particular Le Mans.
The F1 GTR, which won Le Mans in 1995 and also claimed the highest practice top speed of the year at 236mph, will be taking to the Goodwood Hill.
It will be joined by the F1 GTR 'Longtail', built for the 1997 racing season. At Le Mans that year the car reached 196mph on the Mulsanne straight, eventually placing second behind Joest Racing's Porsche WSC-95.
Also being showcased at Goodwood is the one-off F1 LM prototype - built to honour the F1 GTR's victory. Under the codename of F1/XP1LM the car is finished in Papaya Organe, the same colour as team founder Bruce McLaren's early F1 racers.
