A specially comissioned Ford Mustang will make its world debut at the SEMA show in Las Vegas.
The Project Yellow Jacket Mustang puts out 597bhp and 473lb ft of torque from its 5.0-litre supercharged V8 engine. It was created by tuning specialists Vortech, who added a new body kit and carbonfibre trim as well as upgrading the mechanical package.
Other features of the Yellow Jacket Mustang include specially designed allow wheels, upgraded suspension and more powerful six-piston brakes.
The company says it was driven to build the car after discovering Ford doesn't yet offer yellow paint on the new Mustang. Custom yellow paint was supplied for the car.
The 2014 Mustang is expected to arrive in European showrooms next year, and will be sold with V6 and V8 engine options alongside Ford's familiar 2.0-litre four-cylinder EcoBoost engine.
