Currently reading: More kit, better ride for Primera

Nissan has tweaked the cabin, equipment and handling of the Primera, and the results will be unveiled at next week’s motor show. The British-built Primera gets a new colour-screen reversing camera, improved DVD-based satellite navigation system upgraded to include a traffic information system, revised climate control and integrated telephone systems, plus tyre pressure sensors on some models. Nissan’s engineers promise reduced harshness of ride, less pitch, better high-speed stability and quicker steering. With the exception of two new paint colours, however, the Primera’s exterior has been deemed too sharp to change. Prices should start at around £14,500 when it goes on sale in July.
