Seat has released a new, limited-run Carbon Edition of the Leon ST Cupra. The four-wheel drive hot estate is available to order now priced from £35,575.
The Carbon Edition follows in the footsteps of the super-exclusive Leon Cupra R hatch launched earlier this year. Only 24 examples of that car were offered here, while the UK allocation of the Carbon Edition is said to be “fewer than 50”.
Based on the existing Leon ST Cupra 300, the Carbon Edition retains the same 296bhp 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine mated to a six-speed DSG gearbox. It adds new exterior touches such as carbon fibre side blades, carbon front and rear diffusers, and 19-inch black alloy wheels.
It’s only available with Monsoon Grey paintwork, while other exterior tweaks include new Cupra logos for the quad exhaust tips.
The only performance upgrade is standard-fit Brembo brakes, although the hot estate is still capable of 0-62mph in 4.9 seconds. Inside, Cupra bucket seats liven up an otherwise unchanged cabin.
