Skoda will produce 200 special-edition models to celebrate its Intercontinental Rally Challenge victory in 2010.
Dubbed the vRS S2000, the special edition is based on the standard vRS, but features a rally inspired paint job and decals - offered in green with white roof – and 17in alloy wheels.

Power comes from a 178bhp turbocharged and supercharged 1.4 TSI engine, mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox, which works in either fully automatic or manual tiptronic modes.
Performance figures for the special edition include a sprint time of 0-62mph in 7.3sec and a top speed of 139mph.
Skoda has confirmed that only 20 cars will reach the UK market from January, but could not confirm its price.
Of Skoda’s 11 races in the 12-race IRC series, the team won seven.

Amazing how Seat got the message early on!
Re: Skoda vRS S2000 announced
Skoda,
What the hell are you up too!!
Sales,Marketing and Engineering have really lost the plot!
Multi million £ ad campaign and now a (cheap) sticker job to draw attention to a car, which will make the real Fabia v RS BUYER want too throw up.
Get back to "basics" and provide meaner look panels, ( extend wheel arches etc) give it a wider look-quite low cost mod- get the breathed- on diesel plant with the 6 speed box.
This car is becoming a boyracer joke car - relative to the low key 'Happy' fun car with torque grunt and the economy it once had.
What a continued missed opportunity!!
Skoda you are really pushing loyal customers away with your blind and unlistening approach .(lack of saleroom orders and enquiries- discounting demo cars to at least get some visablity on the UK road.Haven't seen a privately owned car on the road since the launch in July)
Ignore the punters views at your pearl!!
Re: Skoda vRS S2000 announced
Clever TV ad , but the Fabia styling doesn't really work as a hot-hatch.
