Glorious, but without the baggage please. Love the details and the finish looks fabulous. Totally outrageous but brilliant.

Saab's in great hands. Bet they can't believe their luck.

Re: Spyker C8 Aileron on video

If this car was £80-90K it would make sense - just.

It appears confused, stuck between 2 genres...the old school Morgan on the one hand and the technological of the R8 on the other. I don't think it does either very well.

It sounds just like the R8 too - although I don't get it having an automatic paddle shift slush-box - no DSG, no manual - No driver's car.

So it's £200K for the looks. Oh, and £18K Louis Vuitton handbags? Really? An all round waste of space. (OK - I like the toggle switches!)

I agree, this thing needs more power say circa 550bhp. I also think it looks a lot better than the old one. Dubious detailing aside this looks a hell of a lot better than the new Mclaren MP4-12C. Did Mclaren just nick the artist impressions for the next Lotus Esprit?

I'm sure the people lucky enough to have £200k burning a hole in their pockets might just prefer a Ferrari 458 italia, but i understand Spyker are aiming it at a different audience.

Me. I'll take the 458 any day and twice on Sunday.....
