Toyota's German division unveils striking one-off iQ based on a disco ball

Toyota has unveiled this iQ Disco, a demonstration model created by the company’s German division.

It has been wrapped in sparkling foil to make it resemble a disco ball and boasts a number of unique features including 18in alloy wheels and Lamborghini-style scissor doors.

It has also been fitted with a professional sound system with a 15in bass reflex subwoofer, a two-channel mixer and two Numark NDX 800 players.

The car will tour dealerships in Germany, having started this weekend at the Köln Rockt event in Cologne. The iQ will be available in the US from 2011 badged Scion iQ.

A demonstration model of a Toyota IQ as a disco ball which seems to demonstrate that the is no levels of stupidity that some manufacturers won't stoop to in order to show off its "creativity".
